Vinification: Destemmed, gently crushed (by foot) and naturally fermented in open top fermenters. Each vineyard component fermented and barrelled separately. The grapes were basket pressed and the wine allowed to mature in older 300 litre French oak barrels for 18 months prior to barrel selection and bottling. Unfined and unfiltered.
Tasting notes: Elegant, medium bodied blend. Perfumy berry nose with smooth, spicy palate resting on soft tannins. Lively red fruit flavours with spicy notes and a caramel finish. Perfect companion to meaty dishes or spicy apple pie.
