Die Verlore Bokooi 2024 is a fruity, full-bodied red blend from Lowerland, our regenerative farm on the banks of the Orange River at Prieska in the Northern Cape – the story of Lowerland in a bottle. A five-way blend of our red cultivars (Merlot 31%, Tannat 24%, Petit Verdot 21%, Syrah 15%, Cabernet Sauvignon 9%) made by winemaker Lukas van Loggerenberg. Fragrant spice and cool herbs on the nose, followed by red fruits and hints of black tea on a lengthy palate — the tannat and petit verdot balanced by merlot’s juicy softness for intensity and drinkability. 13.78% alcohol.

Vinification
100% destemmed, with natural fermentation and minimal handling, then matured in older French oak for 10 months. Drink now or cellar for 3 to 5 years. Pairs beautifully with biltong and braai.
