What a Tjop is a 5 kg variety box of chops from across the Lowerland farm — a mix of beef, lamb and pork chop cuts (contents vary month to month, but the sum is always greater than its parts). All from our pastured beef, pasture-raised Rietskaap lamb and free-range Pampoenvark pork.
How to cook it
Braai over coals, oven-roast or air-fry. Thaw slowly in the fridge and bring to room temperature before cooking.
Storage
Vacuum-sealed and delivered frozen — please recycle the packaging. Keeps 4 to 12 months frozen (below 0 °C). Once defrosted, use within 3 to 5 days and keep refrigerated.
